Not the cheapest three star hotel I've stayed in, but there was nothing to complain about, clean, tidy, fresh, good breakfast and plenty of parking spaces. The room was good, air conditioning and a nice comfortable bed. A little out of town with not much in the way of local amenities which means driving even if its for food or snacks. Worth the four stars.
Absolutely brilliant stay here. The room was lovely. Air conditioning worked a treat. The shower was fantastic. Beds and duvets really comfy. What more could top this off?? Delightful breakfast! Sausages were dreamy!! Didn't expect this from a best western but was massively impressed. When I'm next in the area, I will be back!
We got Married here on the 6th of July. What a fantastic venue to hold the complete wedding. The ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception went seamlessly. The Room was transformed quickly in between each part of the wedding , the food was excellent along with the very attentive waiting staff. All together a very smoothly run operation. The resident DJ kept the music flowing ensuring that the dance floor remained full throughout the night. We could not have wished for a better Hotel to have our Wedding. Thank you so much for all you have done!
I chose this hotel as it was the perfect location for the event I was attending. The hotel was clean, the staff extremely friendly, breakfast excellent. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because in some places it looked a little "dated". The room was clean, bar area very inviting and dinning area comfy. Me and the wife both agreed that in some areas it just needed a lock of paint
The communal parts of the hotel were lovely. The bar was clean and the breakfast was delicious, but could have been a bit warmer. The room we stayed in was very big but unfortunately dated and not very well cleaned. There was a thick old cobweb in the lower corner of the room by the bedside table. The bathroom was not too cramped but again, dated and unfortunately made it look a bit grubby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would stay again as an overnight guest
We are regulars here. Good size rooms, some starting to need some TLC, but mostly good. Nice comfortable beds. Bathrooms fitted with bath and shower. Really nice buffet style breakfast, only complaint ...there was no fruit compote this time! Over all, a nice stay.
Friendly staff. Good location for working in the area. Communal areas lovely. Rooms are being refurbished, so had negotiate suitcases over dust sheets and past wet paint. Our room was great with excellent air conditioning unit to get the correct temperature. Duvet a bit thin and there had been short cuts in the bathroom (cheap toilet seat and towels had seen better days). Great for the price paid.
The staff were very friendly and helpful during a wedding a recently attended at the Brook Hotel. The room was decorated beautifully and it was clear that the team organising the wedding had an excellent rapport of the bride and groom, making the day even more special. Unfortunately the food wasn't amazing. I was brought and meat rather than a vegetarian option twice and the vegetables were over cooked. Despite this the waiting team were friendly and very apologetic about the mistake in the meal. Overall a lovely experience.
